Helen is a Research Fellow at the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS), the Public Lead for Creative Commons Nigeria. She is also a Research Fellow of the Open African Innovation Research and Training (Open A.I.R) Project, and Coordinator of Open A.I.R.’s West Africa hub. She also coordinates and facilitates the NIALS Annual Workshop in Intellectual Property Management and other Intellectual Property related events. Helen has a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Calabar, Nigeria, and a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Lagos, and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree in Intellectual Property and the Creative Economy at the University of Cape Town.
