Prof. Iriqat possesses a Ph.D. degree in Intellectual Property Law from the Sorbonne University- France (2013). In 2008-2010, he was the Legal Adviser to SACEM (French society of authors, composers, and music publishers). His duties included advising on intellectual property law in Arab countries compared with the French law, preparation of economic and financial studies, and negotiation of contracts with the collecting societies in Arab world. Recently, he participated in the WIPO-WTO Colloquium for teachers of IP (Geneva, 2014).
