Currently Paulius works at a boutique law firm in Tokyo mainly on matters related to cross-border deals involving major Japanese tech companies. He finds copyright as one of the most fascinating areas of law. Copyright law is rapidly changing and has to be adjusted to new communication media which also open opportunities for novel forms of expression. Copyright X course offers a unique opportunity to discuss those changes and question how legal systems of the world could be adjusted in order to stifle creativity and innovation. Paulius’s hobbies are spending time with friends, travelling, visiting museums, playing sports, learning about history and traditions different cultures.
