Ofonmbuk Esther Ekong holds a Masters of Laws from the University of Benin, a Masters in Public Administration from Delta State University, a Bachelor of Laws, from Nigerian Law School and Ahmadu Bello University, as well as a Diploma in Journalism from Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria.
Esther Ekong has been a research fellow at the Nigerian Institute for Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS) since 2012 and previously worked as a lawyer and Assistant Head of Chamber for a law firm in Nigeria. She is presently a resource person for the CopyrightX Course and NIALS coordinator of Creative Commons Nigeria.
