Prior to attending law school, Ryan received his PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His academic interests in law school include patent and copyright law as well as the intersection of intellectual property and indigenous peoples’ rights. Ryan is an author for the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology Digest’s inaugural case comments that examine recent presidential decisions by the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
